Abstract :
A new resource allocation scheme for joint routing and subcarrier allocation is proposed in the orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA)-based relay system. The objective of the scheme is to maximize the system throughput while guaranteeing the user QoS (quality of service) requirements. The optimization problem is tackled in a graph-theoretic perspective. The simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme is an optimal solution to the problem and achieves better system performance compared to conventional heuristic methods while keeping the computational complexity relatively low.
