Abstract
Pricing plays an important role for the design, operation, and management of communication networks. The goal is to achieve a good network performance by allocating the scarce resource to fulfill different users´ qualities of services while keeping in mind the incentives of different network entities. Network pricing is a cross-disciplinary research area and requires deep understanding of both networking technology and microeconomics. We provide a survey for recent results, trends and developments in this research area.
