Abstract :
Ericsson´s third-generation networks strategy will deliver a range of possibilities for the creation of new network infrastructures to carry the voice, data and multimedia services of the new telecoms world. Ericsson is aiming for a leading position in the new telecoms world with strategies and solutions that will support very rapid growth in IP-based services and increased mobility through wireline and wireless communications. This paper sets the scene by presenting our views on the network solutions that will be needed to power the new telecoms world.
