Abstract :
Describes a proposal of a multi-agent FIPA-compliant solution of a general material handling system problem. Simple ontology for material handling and basic classes of FIPA-compliant agents/messages for this kind of systems are presented. The abilities to solve reconfiguration problems either in the case of failure detection or within the framework of physical reconstruction of the whole system are sketched
