Abstract
Increasingly, enterprise customers run applications critical to their businesses on services procured from telecommunications service providers and they are requesting high availability services. Telecommunications service providers meet these needs by providing several high resiliency service options to the enterprise customer.This paper explores the different aspects of "carrier grade" networks and services, by peeling the reliability onion, one layer at a time.
