Abstract :
As part of the CLIME project we developed an information retrieval tool, called MILE, for homogenous legal regulations about technical domains. This tool is based on a legal assessment module that provides answers in a format that is explicitly based on the structure encountered of legal advice given by legal consultants. This paper describes the context of use, interface, underlying encoding, and capabilities of the MILE legal assessment module, as well as limitations of the knowledge representation for legal information
