Abstract
A parametric axially symmetric 2D model of the filamentary streamer head is aimed to effectively solve the problem of spectral cross-correlated diagnostics using some direct fitting procedure. The model basics are as follows: 1) free assignment of the parametric allowable 2D map of the electric field constructed in agreement with the Poisson equations and electric current conservation law; 2) iterative computation of the corresponding mutually-consistent on-axis profiles of the electron and total space charge number densities; 3) transformation of the on-axis profile of the electron number density to a special allowable 2D parametric map. This simplified parametric model verified on thorough conventional 2D numerical modeling for arbitrary case has been shown to give almost the same results as in 2D case.
