Abstract :
Twin clutches switching control is one of the keys of double-clutch transmission control. This paper establishes the dynamic models of up-shift and down-shift for the double clutch transmission. Then, taking clutch pressure as optimizing parameter and considering shifting time and ride comfort as optimizing target, this paper researches the clutch pressure control law during gear shifting process, by using the linear quadratic optimal control theory. The vehicle test carried on in this study verifies the optimizing method is effective in improving the quality of shifting.
