Abstract :
The temperature effect and the frequency difference between pump wave and first-Stokes wave were theoretically studied for the stimulated Brillouin scattering fiber optic gyros (SBS-FOG). It shows that the temperature plays a major role in many important parameters, such as lasing frequency, mode hopping, free spectral range, pump threshold and so on.
