Abstract
NASA CONNECT, an instructional video series produced by the Office of Education at the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, is designed to increase scientific literacy, improve the mathematics and science proficiency of students in grades four through eight, and increase the competency of mathematics and science educators. The 30-minute programs are broadcast on PBS stations nationwide and on various satellite and cable networks. Registered viewers include approximately 106,000 educators representing about 5.6 million students in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. NASA CONNECT also includes an Internet component that provides online activities, resources, and career information
