Abstract
This paper proposes a modified flyback converter topology, its steady state analysis at constant frequency and a control strategy in variable frequency constant ripple mode of operation. The transient characteristics of the converter with proposed variable frequency control law has fast dynamics. That is, the output voltage remains almost constant for any change in load and supply voltage. The converter steady state characteristics in constant frequency show a better boost property. The proposed converter is validated through simulation and experimental results
