Abstract :
Robot soccer, as the ideal field for research of AI, robotics, and cybernetics, has become a hot topic among researchers. This paper gives a brief introduction of the RoboCup, including the basic rules of RoboCup, the competition environment, and typical research work over RoboCup. A simple comparison between RoboCup and FIRA is also given
