Abstract :
This paper discusses a WDM system in subscriber networks. Possible improvement of an LED as a broadband transceiver by integrating a resonant cavity enhanced light emitting diode (RCE LED) and a separate confinement heterostructure (SCH) amplifier has been proposed.
