  • Abstract
    This paper describes the luminescent characteristics of newly developed blue-emitting bi-activated multi-component oxide phosphor thin films using La2O3-Y2O3, Y2O3-Gd2O3 or Gd2O3-La2O3, which are composed of various combinations of La2O3, Y2O3 and Gd2O3, as the host material. Results from photoluminescence and electroluminescence spectral analysis are presented.
