Abstract :
A new method of sneak circuit analysis (SCA) is presented based on qualitative simulation and functional reasoning. To provide a good intuitive model for qualitative reasoning, a way of qualitative representation of electrical resistance is put forward. Qualitative simulation is integrated with functional labels to deduce the actual functions achieved, providing necessary information for SCA. The result of an example shows that the method, compared with manual analysis, can greatly improve SCA efficiency as well as the degree of automation
