Abstract :
The MED´10 conference this year, in Marrakech, Morocco, is the 18th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation. The first MED conference (http://MED.ee.nd.edu/) took place in 1993 in Greece with the objective to bring together researchers, scientists and engineers in the Control Systems and Automation areas from the Mediterranean Countries, who share much more than technical interests, among other things, culture and history. In 1998 the parent organization Mediterranean Control Association (MCA) was founded to oversee all the MED conferences.
