Abstract :
Smart phone have become a necessity of almost everyone. Current generation open source environment suggest development of enormous amount of services possible and happening in mobile world. Security issues are emerging which necessitates researcher attention to provide secure infrastructure that supports the online interface and distributed services. This paper provides mechanism for data handling using AES algorithm for Android based mobile devices. It can be extended to provide customer with a service they can utilize for securing their data. It is a novel mechanism or methodology to secure the data on cell phone.
