Abstract
We propose a boost converter for a stand-alone power supply system using single photovoltaic cell with maximum power point tracking based on two strategies.: ultra-low voltage input, operating energy of the boost converter powered by own output. It realized by discrete parts and low power consumption MCU. The boost converter starts at less than 0.4 V. It also starts at 88W/m2 of sunlight radiation power at 5 inch Si single photovoltaic cell. The proposed stand-alone power supply system can generate the power even at the rainy day.
