Abstract :
In this paper, a new algorithm to generate optimized reference current for shunt active filter in three phase system is presented. The proposed algorithm is proven to generate optimum reference currents. The extraction of fundamental and harmonics in line current is based on Fourier series expansion. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated on a simulation model of three phase shunt active filter.
