Abstract :
In this paper, analysis, measured and compare the parameter of stacked modified patch antenna comparison for various dielectric material. The proposed antenna has the capability of operating frequency band between 2 GHz to 10 GHz. This antenna is used various dielectric materials such as Duroid, Teflon and Taconic TLY. The antenna is printed on duroid and taconic TLY dielectric substrate of dimensions 20.37 mm × 23.6 mm × 0.64 mm and dimension of teflon dielectric substrate is 20.38 mm × 23.92 mm × 0.64mm. The rectangular shape is connected the inner conductor of the coaxial connector extends through the dielectric and is soldered to the radiating patch, while the outer conductor is connected to the ground plane using coaxial feed. The two patch is placed one over the other by using dielectric spacers for separation and the lower patch is probe feed, while upper patch electro magnetically coupled to the lower patch and upper patch is called parasitic patch. The measures return loss, gain, and radiation pattern of the this antenna and compare the results of all dielectric material and select the best result of all comparison result.
