Abstract
This paper is devoted to the tracking control problem of a permanent magnet stepper motor. A Lyapunov technique is performed to design a feedback law ensuring tracking of electrical and mechanical reference signals. It is shown that the speed is the only required measurement to implement the control law, avoiding any electrical quantities observer
