Abstract :
The Silicon Detector at the CDF Experiment in Run II has been collecting data steadily in a hard radiation environment for the last 9 years. This has led to the presence of some aging effects, such as type-inversion of the substrate and increase of the intrinsic noise, that are carefully monitored in order to maintain the detector performance at the highest level and to predict the useful lifetime of the different sensors. In this presentation, a summary of the studies is given as well as the current conclusions and expectations for the future of the detector.
