Abstract
This paper presents a Software Radio implementation for a system capable of locating unintentional ozone-generating sources. Arc discharges produced by electric equipment are a major ozone generator in industrial-related environments. There is evidence that long term exposure to ozone is a serious health threat. The novelty of this work resides in the application of telecommunication specific signal processing methods for the field of prophylactic and occupational medicine.
