Abstract :
Collocated measurements from SeaWinds scatterometer on board the NASA QuikSCAT satellite, and from TOPEX and ERS-2 altimeters are presented. Some wind speed differences are observed and analyzed in terms of wind speed range, of the particular geometry due to the new rotating beam concept of QuikSCAT, and of significant wave height
