Abstract
The proposed beamformer in two aspects is different from the conventional one. The weights are dependent on time and two parameters θ and θ´. Maximization of the beamformer power on θ and θ´ gives estimates of direction-of arrival (DOA) and its first derivative. Simulation confirms an improved tracking ability of the new algorithm
