Abstract :
A new scheme to implement chaotic turbo codes is proposed. The chaotic RSC encoder is constructed by embedding the chaotic code generator into an RSC encoder. The code rate can be flexibly changed according to the demand. Due to the bandwidth expansion, the performance can be improved, so chaotic turbo codes are suited mainly for spread spectrum applications
