Abstract :
This paper presents that analysis of the characteristics according to pole/slot combination is analyzed under a stator-turn fault. Industrial energy system has serious loss when being fault. For fault analysis according to pole/slot combination, this paper is made of the modeling of 8-pole 12-slot and 10-pole 12-slot motors using the developed FEM-base model and analyzed the torque characteristic according to the circulating current and input current under a stator-turn fault.
