Abstract
Software has been developed to allow color-graphical representations of protein and nucleic acid sequences based on a number of physical parameters. These visualizations assist the molecular biologist in quickly identifying areas of interest within such sequences as well as regions of similarity between two sequences or, at lower resolution, among a number of sequences simultaneously. The software also provides for the plotting of nucleotides in which case color is used to code individual nucleotide matches, in a manner comparable to that outlined for the single sequence graphics.<>
