Abstract :
Commercially available cochlear prosthesis systems consist of an external digital speech processor and an implanted receiver stimulator. This paper presents ultra low power mixed signal implementation of a cochlear prosthesis system suitable for total implantation. The typical measured system power consumption is 126 μW (excluding the stimulation currents).
