Abstract :
Nd-Fe-B dense magnets are prepared by hot pressing of the hydrogenation-decomposition-desorption-recombination (HDDR)-processed powders. The magnetic properties of the HDDR thin hot pressed magnets are then measured with vibrating sample magnetometer after magnetizing them in pulsed magnetic field. The surface morphology of the thin magnets is also observed by using a scanning electron microscope. The results of the measurements are compared with those of sintered magnets.
