Abstract :
This research project conducted at the University Center of Brusque (Unifebe), aims to present the proposal to develop an information system that uses cloud computing technology to perform statistical calculations with levels of river quotas and rain levels, collected from telemetry stations belonging to different organs, in order to assist in the decision making of the civil protection agencies means, such as civil defense and together provide support to other areas as civil engineering for planning purposes, and future research that suit to work with environmental disasters or hydrology. The region of Vale do Itajaí, located in southern Brazil, used as a case study, come from the beginning of its occupation suffering with regular flooding, which causes great losses and damages. Therefore, agencies in the region lack of computational tools to study the data collected for its telemetry stations arranged along the basins of the region. After some disasters caused by severe flooding in the region, the search for non-structural measures came to be seen as a great way to create contingency plans and evacuation of homes before an emergency situation. The software solution proposed here uses the statistics to perform analysis on the data collected by telemetry stations in the region, displaying their results through a web system using graphs and tables, allowing understand certain phenomena, such as concentration of rain, its events and deadlines, using descriptive statistics. In comparisons of monthly periods, annual and other periods, the advanced reporting for technical use will be possible, containing detailed analysis, and display results of various statistical calculations as separatrices measures, dispersion, means, medians among several that will be addressed. To carry out the development of the proposed system, have been supporting the Civil Defense in the city of Brusque, which in addition to providing self-made data, public data have stemmed from othe- agencies as CEMADEN and ANA. In order to perform studies on the received data, separation and preparation thereof has been necessary because of come from different sources, do not have similar structures. All data after organized to meet a single structure were imported into a central database, thus facilitating consultations and calculations to be performed with the data. They were identified by their sources and stations that carried out the collection.
