Abstract :
The CALICE collaboration conceives, constructs and tests calorimeters for experiments at a future high energy electron positron collider. Within this program, a highly granular electromagnetic calorimeter prototype based on silicon sensors and tungsten absorber has been constructed and tested in particle beams. We describe the design and measured performance of this prototype.
