Abstract
Excellent performance of SAR has aroused deep study of jamming techniques. This paper first discusses present jamming techniques and their shortcomings, then gives methodology of classifying ECCM of SAR, and at the same time, gives principle and results of signal design method, which combines orthogonal codes and random initial phase at each pulse, the method leads to disability of jamming to finish match filtering of both range and azimuth. Finally this paper points out that beamforming technique is a potential method for the future of ECCM of SAR.
