Abstract
In this report, we propose a new oxide added granular medium with a Co-Pt film which exhibits developed magnetic decoupling. The film was sputter-deposited on glass disks at room temperature and its magnetic properties such as magnetic anisotropy and coercivity were measured with a Kerr effect magnetometer. Film thickness of the storage layers was fixed at 15 nm. Compositional analysis was carried out by an Auger electron spectroscopy.
