            Abstract :
Fe nanoparticles, with a controlled size between 10 nm and 35 nm, are produced by thermal decomposition of precursor (Fe(CO)5) in octyl ether solution in the presence of surfactant under a N2 atmosphere. The correlation between particle size distribution and production process is discussed. The functions of temperature and injecting precursor speed are used to discuss the particle size distribution. Particle size is determined to be sensitive to reactive time.
