Abstract :
A novel space flux vector modulation strategy for a four-switch three-phase inverter is presented. The modulation strategy maintains a constant circular stator flux locus by selectively switching among the four allowable but different voltage vectors. The scheme can be implemented in real-time using a low-cost microcontroller due to its fast deterministic control algorithm. Both simulation and experimental results are presented
