Abstract
The synthesis of switched-current (SI) filters from continuous time prototypes by the simulation of components, particularly capacitors and transconductors in transconductance-C filter is described. A SI low-pass 5th order Chebyshev filter using bilinear Z-transformation is presented for this kind of synthesis, with reduced switch number and great structural regularity. The obtained structure synthesized by this techniques work with doubled effective sampling rate, make strict use of voltage-sampling switches, and naturally admit two-phases non-overlapping clocks.
