Abstract :
This paper presents a proposed control of a Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) with active filtering function for non linear conditions. The Rotor Side Converter (RSC) controls the active and reactive power injected to the grid by the stator of the Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). The specified control of the Grid Side Converter (GSC) ensures simultaneously the DC link voltage regulation and harmonic currents mitigation which are delivered by non linear loads. For this reason, a modified control strategy of the GSC which combines the active filtering function with DC link voltage control is proposed. The simulation results show well performances of the modified control strategy for the GSC.
