Abstract :
ZnO-TiO2 nanocomposite thin films were synthesized on Si (100) and glass substrates by spray pyrolysis using Zinc acetate and Titanium(IV) oxyacetylacetonate as the precursors for ZnO and TiO2 respectively. The surface morphology of the films was characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy. The phases present in the films were determined by glancing incidence X-ray diffraction and further confirmed by micro Raman spectroscopy. Distribution of different phases present and their molecular structures were identified by using micro-Raman mapping technique and Raman scattering studies. The defect states present were studied using photo luminescence spectra.
