  • Abstract
    A high sensitive and heat-resistive magnetic displacement sensor using a magnetostrictive/piezoelectric laminate composite is introduced. Two types of sensor are fabricated by a laminate composite of Tb-Dy-Fe (Tc: 380°C) alloy and LiNbO3 (Tc: 1200°C) or PZT (Tc: 340°C) integrated to a magnetic circuit consisting of iron yokes and a SmCo magnet (Tc: 830°C). The temperature characteristics of sensitivity is measured. The results demonstrate heat-resistivity of the sensor inherited from the high Curie temperatures of Tb-Dy-Fe and LiNbO3.
