Abstract
This presentation focuses on experience with diagnostic and condition monitoring facilities on the Manchester Metrolink System concentrating on the signalling system on the railway. The major signalling system elements are briefly outlined. The authors then discuss the integrated fault-finding and diagnostic features of the processor based elements. The fault reporting aspects of the system are discussed. The monitoring system is able to monitor performance in real time without disrupting operation
