Abstract :
A recently proposed analog cell suited to low-voltage and low power operation and named "flipped voltage follower" is applied to the design of current conveyors. Two alternative topologies are presented, both operating at 1.5 V and featuring simplicity, compactness, low power consumption and bandwidths up to 100 MHz for a 0.5 μm CMOS technology. As an application example, a universal biquadratic filter is designed and simulated.
