Abstract :
Studies of left handed (LH) transmission characteristics on periodic structures have been recently focused with great interests for microwave community, which show backward characteristics together with negative refractive index. New microwave devices such as couplers and leaky wave antennas in the planar circuits were proposed. These paper studies quasi-LH characteristics of periodic, ferrite gyrator circuits with theory and experiment, and wide band nonreciprocity of the periodic gyrator circuit with parallel resistance loading is discussed.
