  • Abstract
Generating electricity for the use of wireless devices, pacemakers for a long time is a difficult task and depending on rechargeable batteries technology. Presently, the battery technology is replaced by MEMS/NEMS based microgenerator techniques, since the battery technology is costlier, bulkier and requires frequent maintenance and replacement. In this work we have proposed a model to design microgenerator using the well established MEMS/NEMS design techniques. The proposed model comprises of piezoelectric and thermoelectric microgenerator design, which can be ergonomically designed on the keys/keyboard in mobile and computing devices. The proposed model can be simulated, analyzed, and implemented to solve power supply problems in most of the portable, miniaturized communication as well as biomedical devices.
