Abstract :
We present in this paper a second order Σ-Δ modulator working under a supply voltage of 900 mV, which is dedicated to wireless signal recording. A new fully differential CMOS class AB Operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) is proposed to realize a rail-to-rail operation range by using a charge-pump to provide the supply only to the input stage. The modulator has been implemented using a 0.18 μm CMOS technology. It achieves a SNR of 74 dB that be able to handle the signal from DC to 10 kHz. And the total power consumption is less than 38 μW.
