Abstract :
A built-in input filter full-bridge converter (BIFFBC) for high-power applications, employing the transformer leakage inductance, two clamp diodes and two cross-coupled capacitors, is proposed. This configuration is equivalent to a conventional PWM full-bridge converter (PWM FBC) with an input filter. In addition to performing the input filter function, it provides a lossless turn-off snubber and voltage-clamping with a minimum of extra components. Low voltage stress on the main switches, nonpulsating input current, and high efficiency can be achieved in this paper, the circuit operation is illustrated by PSpice simulation waveforms, and an experimental circuit of a 150 kHz, 270 V-330 V, 15 V/14 A converter is described
