            Abstract :
In time reversal (TR) duality, the waveforms of one network are time reversed versions of their counterparts in the dual network. There are four types of TR duality; in two of them the direction of power flow through a circuit is reversed. Models for the time reversal duals of active switches and diodes are derived, then the theory is applied to the synthesis of DC-DC converters. Experimental results are given for a bidirectional quasi-resonant DC-DC converter. The principles of TR duality are widely applicable throughout power electronics for reversal of power flow
