Abstract
Recently, the framework for IEEE 802.11ac will include support for an efficient channelization in China´s spectrum, which can improve spectrum utilization. But it also entails some new unresolved problems. The first question we should resolve is the compatibility between 802.11a/n and 802.11ac.This paper will present a scheme aiming for the compatibility. The proposal will consider all channels as partially overlapping channels, and assign them based on classical graph coloring. On the premise of high throughput, the usage of partially overlapping channels can flexibly solve the compatibility.
