Abstract :
Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) is a new high strength material prepared with a special combination of ordinary portland cement, silica fume, fine river sand, super plasticizer, water and fibres. The fibres used in this study are polypropylene fibres. This material makes the concrete corrosion free. Experimental investigations are carried out to determine the chemical attack related durability properties of UHPFRC and fly ash based UHPFRC. The durability properties help us to understand the behaviour of the materials when it is used for many years. Here the properties investigated are resistance to attack of acids, sulphates and chlorides.
