Abstract :
Reduction in variability of clinical lesion quantification with TOF-PET imaging is reported. Realistic patient situation which includes data processing and image reconstruction is shown. For these initial measurements, the relative improvement in variability with TOF ranges from 3-5 in the liver. By blurring the timing information of the data, it is shown that the variability improves with improved timing resolution of the data.
